Welcome Colonels Fans

This website is for all you fans of the Massanutten Military Academy Colonels football team to help you keep track of the latest scores and notes from Colonels games during the 2007 football season.

I want to start off by saying that I'm a parent of an MMA cadet and not officially associated with Massanutten Military Academy.  This is my attempt at putting together a website that allows those MMA parents (or just plain old MMA football fans) who aren't able to make it to Colonels games to have a chance to keep up with the team and how it's doing.

Over the course of this season I'll try to keep this site updated with current information and video after every Colonels game.  However, as many of you with computers (and Internet connections) already know, there are electronic forces beyond our control that can get in the way of even this simple goal.  So, please be patient.  If you're not sure if the information on a particular web page has been updated, just take a look at the bottom left corner of the page and you'll find the date that I last made changes.

So, with all that being said, please enjoy this website and I hope to see you at Bowman Stadium this season.

For Best Viewing of this Site

This website was developed using Microsoft's Office Live web hosting toolset.  As you would expect, this site can best be viewed using their Internet Explorer web browser.

I viewed the site using Mozilla's Firefox and found that there are a few bug-a-boos here and there.  However, for the most part, the site displays well enough with Firefox.

Regardless of which browser you use, this website is best viewed using a screen resolution of 1024 by 768.  If you have your resolution set to 800 by 600, your screen layout may be a bit jumbled and you may end up scrolling a little more.

About Viewing Game Video

If you're viewing game video, please keep this in mind.

As long as you have a broadband connection, you shouldn't have any problems loading and streaming the video (depending on the amount of Internet traffic).

Now, if you're streaming video using a dial-up connection, I think that you're in for long, painful experience.

Once your computer's Windows Media Player has opened and you've started viewing the video, if it seems jumpy (starting and stopping), you might want to click the pause button and let the little light blue (or green, depending on which version of Media Player you have) bar go all the way from left to right.

That bar indicates the amount of video that has loaded into the Media Player.  If the bar is still moving from left to right, then video is still loading.  If video is still loading, then Media Player will jump back and forth from loading video to playing video --and you'll see jumpy video.
